Sixth day

Strasbourg

So, we are in the capital of Europe!

Strasbourg is also the capital of Alsace, the seventh city in France in terms of population. The entire city center is listed by UNESCO as a cultural heritage of world importance.

Seventh day

Ribeauville

The small village of Ribeauville is surrounded by vineyards and three medieval castles. The local architecture delights with its colorfulness: each half-timbered house of the 16th-17th centuries is painted in its own color - green, orange, lemon, blue. On the first floors of many mansions there are wine cellars where they are treated to local wine.

Riquewihr

Riquewihr is a charming old town surrounded by walls from the 13th-16th centuries. It is called the pearl of the Alsatian vineyards.
After passing through the massive gates, you find yourself on a square with a fountain and an old well, from where you can see the view of the Middle Ages.

Riquewihr has 5 museums for 1200 people. We left the museums alone, and went along the route, admiring the delightful buildings of hewn stone or half-timbered houses.

Kayserberg

Kaiserberg is the third town on our program for the day.
Houses with timber frame walls and bay windows form a first-class architectural ensemble. It is a pleasure to walk along such streets, looking into small and pretty shops with their friendly and always smiling sellers.
