Istria&Venice
After two magical days on the Plitvice Lakes, we rushed to the Istrian peninsula. On the way we stopped in the resort town of Crikvenica. A hotel was booked in Istria.
Here is the address:
The hotel is located in the town of Moscenicka-Draga. The hotel is old, just falling apart before our eyes, but on the very seashore.
We were here for four days. First we went to Pula. There is a Roman amphitheater like the Roman Colosseum.

But the road to Pula and back was very difficult: narrow, mountainous with many serpentines. In short, we felt sorry for our drivers.
The next day we took a tour of the islands of Krk and Kres on a boat with lunch and all sorts of snacks.
Here is our boat. Double-deck!

And the next day, the dream of those who wanted to see Venice came true. The fact is that the girl through whom we booked a tour of the islands helped us book a tour to Venice with a local driver-guide. By the way, this option is also suitable for those who have a car and a desire to visit Venice for one day. Here is a map showing parking:
Parking on the way to Venice - Punta Sabbioni

Distance from our hotel to parking - 240 km, travel time 3 hours 40 minutes, travel time by ship to Venice - no more than 30 minutes, the same - back.
But stop for a moment! Pigeon in front of Campanile San Marco
