Day 5 November 27, Sunday.

   Today we are going to another "wonderland" - Dubai Mall - the largest shopping and entertainment center in the world, located at downtown Dubai. The total area of the center is more than 1.2 million m². 

Among the attractions and establishments located in the Dubai Mall, you should pay attention to:

  • SEGA Republic - the first in the region theme park under a roof of about 7600 m².

  • Gold Souk is the world's largest indoorgold market" with 220 stores.

  • "Fashion Island" with an area of 44,000 m², reserved for 70 haute couture stores of elite world brands, including:  VersaceBurberryRoberto Cavalli, Galliano, HermesGivenchy, Cerruti, Missoni, Tom Ford and Ermenegildo Zegna[one].

  • First on Middle East store of a well-known company Galeries Lafayette.

  • KidZania is a children's entertainment and educational center with an area of 8000 m².

  • Aquarium of the Dubai Mall  is one of the biggest oceanariums world.

  • Cinema complex with 22 screens.

  • Ice rink olympic sizes.

  • "Grove" (The Grove) - a piece of the street, covered with a sliding roof.

   Next we will climb to a height of 472 meters - the world famous landmark of Dubai.

   Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world! The height of the skyscraper is 828 meters, these are 163 floors. Its shape resembles a stalagmite.

   The highest observation deck of the Burj Khalifa is located on the 148th floor at an altitude of 555 meters. Two more sites are located on the 124th (472 meters) and 125th floors.

    There are 57 elevators in the building. In this case, only the service elevator rises from the first floor to the last. Residents and visitors of the skyscraper move between floors with transfers. Burj Khalifa elevators reach speeds of up to 10 m/s.

In the evening we made a two-hour cruise around the bay on an Arabian dhow ship (Dhou) with dinner.
